About Craig Hill
Craig Hill represents a unique blend of artistic talent and technical expertise. In his more than 30 years at Sea World, Craig lent his hand to everything from specialized equipment for killer whale dentistry ... to multi-million dollar artificial animal habitats ... to bronze sculpture.
A wildlife management graduate of Ohio State University, Craig began his career at the Houston Natural Science Museum. In early 1973 he was recruited to join the SeaWorld of California Exhibits Department.  In addition to his responsibilities in San Diego, over the years Craig built exhibits in all of the SeaWorld parks. He was involved in the initial development of the SeaWorld parks in Florida and Texas, and Discovery Cove in Orlando.

Craig's technical expertise includes fiberglass, metal and concrete fabrication, mold making and casting, anatomical preparation, window installation, coating and paint applications, and general construction. On the artistic side he is known for his model making, sculpture and exhibit design.

A hallmark of Craig's career is his ability to create unique solutions to unique problems -- figuring out how to do what has not been done before. While he has an impressive portfolio, he enjoys the challenge of a new problem ... or of finding a new solution to an old problem.

Now retired from Sea World, Craig works in his studio in northern San Diego County.
